Yes, Finnish summer is unpredictable. Yesterday it was a sunny day with almost +30 degrees, now a heavy rain and +13. One more option for a typical Finnish summer day is broken skies with a strong cold wind :) .

Open challenge: Winter Fairytales
This week I travelled to Joensuu (for an exam and) to visit friends. I was amazed by the frozen beauty...!
Today in Helsinki we did get still 20 cm more snow. Can't complain about the winter here neither :) .

A shooting trip to Hailuoto

I started to make jam for the winter already on a very hot day in June. Today I made last pots. Redcurrant, blackcurrant, blueberries, strawberries, rasberries... and now apples.

The first challenge - "At evening of Midsummer"
I spend a very nice and calm Midsummer at my friends home in Tikkakoski. This photo was taken from the window of their living room just before going sleeping at evening of Midsummer. What a beautiful place they are living in!!

Prologue
We used to go photographing together when we lived close to one another. Now there's 599 km's between us so it's gotten a bit difficult. Yesterday we had a chance to take our cameras out together. After the shooting trip we came up with an idea of posting photos and sharing them even when we are apart. And while we're at it, why not share it with you, too.
